In every large settlement there are cemeteries, this is an absolutely understandable necessity, and Chelyabinsk is no exception. One of the largest graveyards in the capital of the Southern Urals is the Preobrazhenskoe cemetery.
Location
Transfiguration Cemetery is located in the north-west of the city - this is actually its very outskirts. History
Also interesting is the fact that the Transfiguration Cemetery of Chelyabinsk is one of the "youngest" graveyards of the city and is in more than acceptable condition. According to various historical sources, it can be concluded that the cemetery is no more than eighty years old. There are Christian, Muslim and Jewish burials on the territory.
Layout
