Antoine Fucua in his school years had no idea who he would be when he grew up. His main hobby was sports, he liked to play basketball. The hobby allowed the young man to earn a grant, thanks to which he was able to continue his education at the University of West Virginia. At first, the guy intended to become an engineer, but quickly lost interest in science.

Having dropped out of high school, Antoine Fukua went to where all the ambitious young Americans flock to New York. His first achievement was shooting commercials, video clips. Having instantly made a name for himself in this field, the young man got the first famous clients, among whom were such personalities as Asher, Prince, Stevie Wonder. Big brands were also interested in the capable guy, he had a chance to work even with Armani.
Fukua gradually realized what his calling was. His first film project was released in 1992, unfortunately, almost unnoticed. More successful was the action movie "Assassins to Replace", which the aspiring director submitted to the public in 1992. The main character of the film is the killer, who failed to fulfill the order of the mafia - to eliminate the policeman. As a result, a hunter begins hunting, he has to hide from criminals and law enforcement agencies.

Training Day is a crime drama, thanks to which director Antoine Fukua became famous, whose films had not been very popular before. The film project invites viewers to watch the confrontation between law enforcement and drug dealers. The main character of the picture is an inexperienced policeman Jake, who was in the thick of things almost on the first day of work. The old policeman Alonzo was appointed to be his assistant, whose methods immediately begin to seem illegal to the newcomer.
The picture "Training Day" was released in 2001, its stars were Hawke and Washington. The latter was even awarded the honorary Oscar. The film earned an impressive amount at the box office, and its creator from an unknown director instantly turned into a star.
