Renat Davletyarov: biography

The future producer and director was born on August 17, 1961 in an international family. His father is Tatar by nationality, and his mother is Russian. The family at the time of his birth lived in Astrakhan. Renat's father was the chairman of the Committee on Oil in the USSR. There were two of them in the family. Renate has a younger brother Boris. After the collapse of the Union, Favaris Davletyarov headed Rosneft. Parents gave their sons an excellent education: Renat entered the Polytechnic, and his younger brother went to a medical institute. Father and mother had an idea of ​​their future. But fate decreed otherwise. Boris, having studied at the institute, after graduating for three years, he worked in his specialty, and then, changing the direction of his activity, he retrained as a banker and left for London.

Change of profession

Davletyarov Renat Favarisovich graduated from the Polytechnic Institute, received a diploma of a metallurgical engineer and went to work in the design bureau of the auto giant ZIL. But there he did not stay long. In just a couple of months, he achieved a free diploma so as not to work for three years established by law. This is surprising, but the future producer Davletyarov Renat Favarisovich at that time wanted to work as a loader. However, another opportunity turned up - to try their hand at the staging workshop at Mosfilm. Of course, his parents did not like this turn of events, but they did not interfere with his son. And Renat from 1985 moved to live in the capital to try his hand at film production.

Start of work

He worked for a long time at Mosfilm. At first he was the director of the scenery, and then began to act as deputy director of the film studio for films. In 1989, he was appointed director of paintings. In 1994, Renat Favarisovich Davletyarov leads the Krug film studio at the Mosfilm film concern, and after that for seven years he has been working as the general director of the Moscow International Film Festival.

Creative way

As director of the film process, he works on many films. At that time, five films were released under his leadership. The first picture, on which Renat worked, was a fantastic drama, telling about the consequences of the Afghan war. It was called "Leg." The main roles in the film were played by Peter Mamonov and Ivan Okhlobystin. The picture was shot at the Studio of Youth and Children's Films, led by Rolan Bykov. As Renat recalls, the filming process went with great difficulty. And so that the picture does not close, Bykov decides to appoint the director of the 25-year-old Davletyarov. This first experience was the most difficult.

And in 1992, the second picture was released, in which Davletyarov is the director. The comedy of George Shengelia “Money changers” is still enjoyed by many viewers today. It was attended by Vladimir Ilyin, Vadim Zakharchenko, Valentina Telichkina. The implausibility of the grotesque plot, the picturesque nature and the convincing play of eminent actors made this tape incredibly popular. She even won the special competition of the Chaplin Golden Cane festival in Switzerland.

Continuing to cooperate with George Shengelia, Davletyarov took part in the creation of the next film of the director. It was a picture “Sagittarius restless”, in which it was a question of creating a time machine. The main character, traveling on it, is trying to make money. Such leading actors of the time as Nikolai Pastukhov, Tatyana Dogileva, Vladimir Ilyin and Irina Feofanova played in the picture.

Another film in which Renat was the director is a joint Russian-American film “Whistler” by R. Erdesh, after which he proceeded with the film adaptation of “Three Sisters” with Sergei Solovyov.

Davletyarov - producer

Until the end of the nineties of the last century, Renat Favarisovich runs the Interfest Corporation. At the same time, he is the executive director of the Moscow International Film Festival. Since 1997, Renat Favarisovich Davletyarov is a Russian producer. However, he became known to the general public later - from the mid-2000s. His favorite genre as a producer is comedy.

In 2005, he, together with Alexander Strizhenov, released the film "180 and above" with Ekaterina Strizhenova and Evgeny Stychkin in the lead roles, telling about a shorty not sure of his own charm. He does his favorite thing, considering the cinema is incredibly interesting, loves the filming process. Regardless of the role in which he is in this picture, Renat tries to spend a lot of time on the set to get the most out of the atmosphere of the film.

In 2007, Davletyarov managed to launch the international festival of contemporary cinema, “Tomorrow / 2morrow, ” and since 2009 he led the Russian Guild of Producers. In 2012, R. Davletyarov was elected to the Public Chamber in the Central District.
