The settlement with the romantic name Schuchye-Ozerskoye is located on the right bank of the Ater River. This is the Oktyabrsky district of Perm Territory.

The structure of the settlement includes 11 entities: villages, villages and farms, including the village of Shchuchye Lake, which gave it its name.

Country efforts

There is a legend about the origin of the village. They say that this place was discovered by one fishing man who discovered a lot of game in these places, and in the lake - full of fish, especially pike. He told this to his comrades, and in 1882 the first hut was built on the lake. During the year, more houses appeared around the water, so the village of Shchuchye Lake (Perm Territory) arose.

According to other sources, the emergence of the village dates back to 1910 and is associated with the reform of land development in Siberia, carried out in Russia by Prime Minister P. A. Stolypin. In accordance with the reform, peasants from the European part of the country were allocated land in Siberia, supplied elite cattle imported from abroad for breeding. These settlers built new villages and cities, helped create the Siberian railway. By the way, the free and good life of newly created villages and settlements brought considerable profit to Russia after four years - 4 million pounds of bread.

After the revolution, the collective farm "Spike of Socialism" appeared here. The basis of economic management is horse breeding and grain production. There were 50 horses on the collective farm; peasants collected 20 centners of grain per hectare.

In the forties there were 86 yards.

In the center of the village there is a karst lake, that is, that arose in a natural hollow-fracture of the earth filled with underground sources. The depth of the lake is more than 14 meters. The water in it is clean, drinking.

The lake has a peculiarity: during the existence of the village it completely “left” and appeared again 3 times.

Under the sound of wheels

The construction of the railway from Kazan to Yekaterinburg in 1913 did not pass the village. The road ran just 2 kilometers from the village of Shchuchye Ozero, so a railway station was built in the next two years. Created it in several stages:

  • first a barracks was erected for building soldiers;
  • then - the construction of the station and two houses of railway workers on the sides of the station building;
  • a break from 1914 to 1918 in connection with the First World War and the Civil War;
  • since 1919 the construction of the railway and the further laying of the village around the station continued.

New private houses continued to appear until 1937, forming several streets.

Since 1932, the village acquired its own logging plant, in 1937 the school began to work.

In subsequent years, until the end of the fifties, the village continued to develop. He worked his timber industry, library, club, high school, local radio, hospital.

In 1957, about 1, 000 children studied in the new building.
