Kucher Stanislav is a modern journalist and publicist, television and radio presenter, and since last year he has been a member of the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights, author of the book "In One Go". From November 2017 to October 2018, Stanislav is the chief editor of the international project RBC Snob, and now he is the face of the international television channel RTVI. In March 2018, he turned 46 years old.

The journalist grew up in a family of caring, socially responsible people with an active lifestyle. His father, Alexander Kucher, was the editor-in-chief of the periodical “Own Opinion” in St. Petersburg; mother Natalya is a writer and journalist. From childhood, Stanislav absorbed their views and attitude towards life.
Immediately after school, the young man left to enter MGIMO and already during his studies he became a journalist for Komsomolskaya Pravda. Even before graduation, Stanislav Kucher became interested in Russian-American relations, traveled together with a colleague hitchhiking the United States and interviewed famous people such as Bradbury, Spielberg, McCartney.
Stanislav Alexandrovich’s track record includes work in various projects, where he acts as a journalist, columnist, editor-in-chief, author and host of information and analytical programs. The coachman is known as an extremely principled person, he is not inferior under the pressure of the interests of media owners and works exactly until his views and those of his colleagues on the development of the project coincide. Having started his career in the 90s, Stanislav quickly realized the importance of his profession. In one interview, he stated:

Inspired by the work of Listyev, Lyubimov, Pozner, Stanislav believes that the duty of a journalist is to be true to himself, to live in good conscience, to remain independent and to cover all the events significant for society.
Journalist career
Since 1993, he began filming news and documentary stories for the RTR television channel. From 1995 to 1999, Kucher Stanislav worked on TV-6, where he first conducted “Forecasts of the Week” and then became the author and presenter of the “Observer” program. An informal reason for leaving the channel was the refusal to issue a compromising story about the media tycoon Gusinsky, and the formal reason was a lack of funding. In full journalism, the Kucher team left TV-6 and continued to work on the project on RTR.
This project by Kucher Stanislav was closed after the release of the program about the tragedy in Kursk. Then there was work on RTR in the program "Big Country", which was also closed after a scandalous release. After that, the journalist lived and worked in America for some time. Since 2002, Kucher has run various programs on TV and radio, collaborated with TVC, RBC, Avtoradio, Ekho Moskvy and Kommersant FM, National Geographic Traveler magazine.

Being a very active and inquisitive person, Stanislav is not indifferent to sports, traveling, learning languages. He speaks French and English, knows Hindi. He plays billiards and tennis, is engaged in swimming.
The coachman Stanislav traveled to more than 70 countries, made car trips to America, Europe, Africa and Asia. He reflected this experience in Big Journey on Autoradio and in the work of the editor-in-chief of the print publication National Geographic Traveler.
In recent years, traveling a lot, the journalist became interested in Buddhism, which inspired him to write the book "In the same breath. Good stories."

Since September 2017, Snob Media has been owned by Marina Gevorgyan. The project has practically realized for Stanislav the dream of such an international platform that will allow people from different professions, who are thoughtful and not indifferent, to conduct a dialogue about the future of Russia and the world. But in October Kucher was forced to leave the project due to disagreements with Gevorgyan.
However, from December 5, 2018, the journalist began working as a presenter and observer at the international media company RTVI.
I am convinced that the main processes and events that will determine the picture of the world of the middle of the 21st century will take place in the USA and in Russia, and global Russians living around the world will play a huge role in shaping the future. RTVI is an ideal platform for such a discussion and, perhaps, the only media bridge between Russia and America today.
