Saiguita is an archaeological area in Peru. This place is believed to have been created to worship water. According to legend, there is a temple covered with large golden leaves. So far, direct evidence of this has not been found, but of all the remains found on this site, such as andesite stairs, there is one very specific and strange one - Saiguita rock.
This stone, which looks like a large rock, is a huge natural sculpture. Its circumference is approximately 11 meters. In addition, this stone is more than 3 meters in diameter and almost 2 and a half meters in height.
Mysterious figures
On this gigantic rock there are carvings of animals such as cats, reptiles and even frogs. Experts who analyzed this stone believe that this is a topographic map for hydraulic engineering. In addition to animals, one can also appreciate terraces, ponds, rivers, tunnels and irrigation canals.
It is believed that this ancient city with the same legendary temple complex was rebuilt at different times by adding and removing parts in order to adapt it to changes in water flow.
Although many experts believe that all this was not subject to the so-called evil fate - fate, others agree that these buildings can have religious uses, such as water worship or a symbolic representation of the universe. It can also be a representation of the whole empire, divided into regions represented by symbols. The jungle will be symbolized by monkeys or jaguars, and the seas are represented by marine animals such as an octopus.

Origin history
The origin of the Saiguit rock in Peru is a mystery. Despite the fact that archaeologists do not know exactly about this and its role in the history of the country, they determined that rituals and ceremonies of the aforementioned water cult can be performed in this place.
All this may be due to the localization of the rock located in the religious center of the Incas - the ancient people and the most interesting civilization that once inhabited the lands of the future Peru.
