Childhood and youth
Tamara Petrovna Bokhonova was born before the war, in the 38th year. Her birth occurred under the sign of Scorpio. Such people with dignity meet all difficulties in their path. These are bright individuals who are constantly engaged in self-improvement, and life will subsequently confirm this. They build up spiritual strength, and then take off.
But, having been evacuated at the age of four, little Tom did not know this. He and his mother were evacuated from Lgov, and later moved to their grandparents in Bryansk. A father died at the front, and Tamaru was adopted by her mother’s husband, who became her real father. In gratitude, the girl, when she grew up, took his last name. So Tamara Semina appeared. The family moved to Kaluga, where Tom graduated from the eight-year period. Then she began to study and work in the library of the working youth school, where Bulat Okudzhava was a literature teacher.
Moscow
Now it’s not far from Kaluga to Moscow, only three hours by bus or train, but after the war the trip took twice as long, and therefore Tamara Semina did not know the capital at all. She came to her to become an actress.
And a miracle happened. The trolleybus she was riding on brought her directly to the Institute of Cinematography. The documents were no longer accepted, but she talked with the dean (here is the insistence of Scorpio), and she was allowed to pass exams. The receipt itself was not without incidents. She was asked to sing, and Tamara Semina refused accompaniment - he was stopping her. And he doesn’t sing.

And she said all this quite seriously in a thin little voice. For all teachers, she caused a sincere laugh. She was accepted, she went through all the tours, and in the 56th year she became a student.
Study
But already in the first year, the girl is invited to shoot in two films. On the second - the young Marlene Hutsiev removes her in the film "Two Fedor". And even in the years of study, she has a rare luck - in 1959, Mikhail Schweitzer removes her in the role of Katyusha Maslova in the film “Resurrection” based on the novel by L.N. Tolstoy.
The dramatic role revealed her vivid abilities and ability to expressively convey, working on close-ups, the tragic experiences of Katyusha. She showed herself as a real actress of a classic Russian acting school. In 1961, she became the best artist of the year according to a survey of readers of the magazine "Soviet Screen". And then went international recognition of both the film and the work of Semina, who became a diploma and received a rating of "excellent". So with a brilliance, the student finished her studies in 1961 and began working at the Theater-Studio of the film actor.
Movie work
Offers to act came one after another. The roles were diverse, revealing all the facets of the artist's talent: humor, drama, lyricism. The costume film “The Serf Actress” allowed Semina to “sing”.

Life outside the cinema
Family life developed when, in the second year, Tamara Semina married her classmate. Vladimir Prokofiev, who had an undeniable talent, turned out to be in demand only in dubbing, which he had been doing for more than thirty years. But in the 80s he had a stroke, and Semina spent a lot of time almost leaving the cinema and devoted herself to caring for her husband. If not for this trouble, we can say that Tamara Semina, whose personal life was developing safely, is a completely happy person. But the grief that there are no children, and the long, almost seventeen-year illness of the spouse who died in 2005, do not allow such a conclusion. There is a Russian proverb "in every house for whom." Unfortunately, everyone's favorite actress is no exception.
