Doug Jones is one of the most famous actors, whose face, however, is almost unknown to anyone. For 30 years, Doug has been playing monsters, hiding behind a mask or make-up. Is the actor embarrassed about his appearance, or was this due to other reasons?

Doug Jones built a brilliant career in Hollywood: he took part in more than 160 films and television series, but few people know his real face, which he hid since 1987 behind latex and silicone masks.

But the film "The Form of Water" had a lot of frustration, because in addition to the usual image of a frightening monster, he now had to play … a romantic scene with the main character of the film. The monster turns into an object of love and itself becomes more humane, emotional - which is quite frightening and unusual for Doug.

Doug believes this film is very moving and truthful: you should not pay attention to the outer shell, the most important thing is the essence of what is inside the person.
