Shkolnik Alexander is a well-known journalist and public figure in Russia. Since 2017, he became the head of the Central Capital Museum dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. But a year later, Alexander Yakovlevich left the Russian News Service on his own, and two months later he became a member of the Federation Council and received the appointment of a representative of the governor of his native land. By the way, the governor of Sverdlovsk and the region at that time was Rossel. But not only this showed himself a well-known journalist in the Council of Federations. It is known that at different times he successfully worked as deputy chairman of the commission, which dealt with the development of civil society.

But in the fall of 2009, Rossel, the former governor of the Sverdlovsk province, was appointed to his place in the Council of Federations, and the powers of the famous journalist and TV presenter were terminated.

In 2010, Shkolnik Alexander received a new appointment - an assistant to the president’s representative, first in the Volga region, and two years later, deputy chairman of the Irkutsk government. He was again responsible for issues related to journalism and television, as well as for the humanitarian and cultural sphere.

In the same year, while studying at the Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, he also received a master's degree. In the summer of the same 2012, the famous journalist was a member of the Catering Council. In the spring of 2017, a new appointment followed, and a well-known journalist, public figure and television presenter was appointed director of the Central Museum of the capital, dedicated to the most terrible and severe World War II.
