The future actress of Soviet cinema Zinaida Slavina was born in early April 1940 in Leningrad Peterhof. According to her admission, from a young age she dreamed of becoming a famous artist and knew that desires were destined to come true. Childhood
While still at school, Zinaida attended drama circles, stood out from the general mass with her ability to get used to the role, increased emotionality, immediacy. On stage, she played the tsarina Marina Mnishek, reincarnated as Prostakova from "Undergrowth". Even then, the girl convinced herself - she is an actress and must become even more famous and recognizable.
After school I went to enter the Pike, having moved to the capital. But could not pass the entrance exams. A year later, the situation repeated. And the third time she became happy. Zinaida Slavina got on a course to Anna Alekseevna Orochko. Immediately after graduating from the school, she took part in the diploma production of Yuri Lyubimov - “A Good Man from Cezuan”. She played in it, having got to the Taganka Theater. Thanks to the same Yuri Lyubimov, who led the theater, Zinaida Slavina was at work. She gave 25 years of life to his theater.
Creative biography
Zinaida Slavina played many roles in the theater. Among her favorite performances: “Benefis” and “Thunderstorm” by Ostrovsky, “Fallen and Alive”, “Antimir”, “Listen!”, “Life of Galileo” by Brecht, “Tartuffe”, “Mother” by Gorky, “Wooden horses ", " Master and Margarita ", " Crime and Punishment ", " And the Dawns Here Are Quiet "and others.
In the early 80s, Yuri Lyubimov emigrated from the country. It became a severe shock for Zinaida Slavina. As the actress later admitted, she literally melted before her eyes, went to the hospital, dying from pain and resentment. For her, the image of the master was akin to a godlike one. The fact that Lyubimov left the theater is like betraying both the actors and friendship.
New artistic director and restoration
Thanks to the arrival of the new artistic director Anatoly Efros, life in the theater began to play with new colors. He helped Zinaida return to her previous course, breathed confidence, faith, hope into her. The first role with the arrival of Efros for Zinaida was Vasilisa from Gorky's drama "At the Bottom". All the positive energy, strength and emotions had to be thrown out on the stage in order to return to the previous course. Later, the actress admitted that it was at that moment that she felt that she was born again. The theater helped her recover, regain confidence in herself and her own strength. She realized that the viewer needed her just as she needed her.
After Perestroika in 1993, a scandal occurred in the Taganka Theater. The troupe was forced to leave the theater and move to a new one under the leadership of Nikolai Gubenko. Slavin was no exception.
Movie roles
Zinaida Slavina (photo below) played a movie for the first time in 1965, a year after graduating from the Shchukin school. Debut role - Iya Konopleva in "Road to the Sea." A year later, was invited to the picture of Alexander Volodin "The incident, which no one noticed."
