Until 2004, Luciana Bason Barroso was married to her Argentinean colleague Arbello Barroso. (Given how secret Lucian is about her life, it remains a mystery when they were married.) They had a daughter, Alexy, before they divorced. Damon adopted Alexy after he and Lucian got married, and they had three own daughters.
Good stepfather
Despite the divorce, Barroso and her ex-husband have reportedly maintained a good relationship. How did they meet?
Did fate play a role in how they met? Barroso reportedly worked as a bartender at Crowbar in Miami to support herself and her daughter Alexia when Damon was in town starring in the comedy Stuck on You. But their meeting could never have happened! According to some reports, Stuck On You was originally supposed to be filmed in Hawaii when Damon signed a contract for the film in 2003, but the filming was moved to Miami until a later date. In addition, the only reason Damon went out to the bar that night was because some members of the acting group just pulled him out.
“I literally saw her through a crowded room. I don’t know how otherwise our paths would have crossed if this had not happened, ”he told the publication.
