Anton planned to hold a ceremony for the release of prisoners, but eventually lay down in a coffin, covered himself with a lid and showed his middle finger. Dangerous rites
On October 2, 2014, Anton Simakov, using voodoo magic, held a ceremony to end hostilities in Ukraine. According to the magician, the war will end only after the death of the rulers, namely Petro Poroshenko, Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Yulia Tymoshenko.
For the ritual, the magician used Orthodox attributes: a burial cover, a crucifix, and permissive prayer. To these church symbols, he added a voodoo doll. Anton, in the presence of journalists, cut off the head of a living rooster, doused it with a doll and Christian symbols. Cleverly performing the sacrifice, the magician aloud spared the death of the Ukrainian leaders.
Gathering bloodied items, Simakov promised to take them to the cemetery and leave them at the graves.
The final part of the ceremony was the demonstrative hanging of the doll with Poroshenko’s face on the bridge.
The ritual caused heated discussion and indignation. Simakov was charged with insulting the feelings of believers. The case under Article 148 was opened for the first time in the region, and on April 12, 2016, the court passed a sentence not of imprisonment, but of Anton’s placement in a specialized psychiatric hospital. On January 18, 2017, the magician left the hospital. Simakov did not disclose the details of the treatment, noting only that he was doing well.
