"Goat Park" in Izhevsk appeared in 2006. The place was not chosen by chance. Previously, the territory was widely used by locals for walking their goats. In the last century, these animals lived with many, so people still respect the goat. A small scrap metal monument reminds the townspeople about the history of Izhevsk. The sculpture of a goat gave the park another name, since earlier it was more called "Birch Grove". Now people often use the name "Goat Park". After all, the monument was liked by many visitors to the recreation area.
The park often becomes not only a place for walking, but also for various events. It regularly celebrates the day of the city, which coincides with a national holiday called Gerber.
