Biography
The real name of the director and screenwriter is Charles Michael Levin, he was born in Texas in 1952 in Houston. Young years the future director and producer spent in New York.
Lorry Chuck's childhood passed in financial distress. My father owned a cafe, but it never became successful. This was the cause of the depression of the mother and the broken heart of his father, who died in 1976, 6 years after the closure of his life’s business.
In 1970, Chuck Lorry went to study at the University of New York in the city of Potsdam. After some time, he quit training for the sake of music. He did this from 1972 to 1986. Then he changed his occupation and went to work on television. At first he wrote for animated series, and then he started creating scripts for situational comedies.
Musical activity
After Lorry Chuck left his studies at the university, he traveled around the country for 10 years, working as a hired musician at live concerts, as he was good at playing the guitar.
At the end of the 80s he gave up touring life and began to write music for the animated series “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” of the 90s. At the same time, Chuck Lorry became the author of the song - the radio hit French Kissin in the USA for the solo album of singer Debbie Harry.
