Mikhail Borisov (Fishman) was born in early February 1949 in the family of the famous Soviet photojournalist Boris Fishman. He was a front-line reporter, and later worked at TASS. His mother, Zunz, was a collaborator in a television theater. After the parents divorced, little Mikhail stayed with his father. The mother married a second time, gave birth to two more children - Eduard and Nina.
Childhood
At a young age, Mikhail learned what theater is. His father took him to the Bolshoi Theater, since he himself was an artist and photographer there. The boy first saw Marisa Liepa, Galina Ulanova, Maya Plisetskaya there.
After school, Borisov firmly decided to enter a theater university, but his father was categorical: his son should get a reliable profession. I had to unlearn at the Mining Institute. But art did not leave the young man there either. Studying in his second year, he enrolled in the student theater "Brigantine." Then his KVN-life began. Michael graduated from the university and got into the engineering institute by distribution, however, he did not work long in his specialty. Again I had to plunge into theatrical life.
Without a specialized education, they were not allowed to shoot and stage, so it was necessary to unlearn at the Amateur Performing Arts Center. A little later Borisov entered the "Pike", got into the workshop of Evgeny Simonov. Upon his return to Moscow, Borisov became interested in pedagogy, directing, and applied activities. Until the end of the 80s, he was listed as a director in Our Theater, after which he transferred to Globus, where he was accepted to the post of chief director. At the same time, he conducted directing and acting courses in "Pike." By the end of the 90s, he first rose to the artistic director of the Variety Department of the GITIS acting faculty, and then to the head. Over the years, his students were Maria Poroshina, Anton Makarsky, Alexander Oleshko, Ekaterina Guseva.
Since the beginning of 1994, Russian television viewers have seen Mikhail Borisov as the host of Russian Lotto, and in 2004 he took part in the same role in the Smart Found and Olympic Flame projects. Four years earlier, he received the title of Honored Artist.

According to Borisov, he was not invited to act in films. The first appearance on the screens happened at a very young age - at 11 years old. And the last - after 45.
