Most of all, the girl cares about Armin and Eren. She considers them members of her own family and is very afraid of losing. Eren convinced Mikasu that the world was full of cruelty and that constant struggle was needed to survive. This motivated the girl to regular training, which made her the best soldier. Ackerman has a heightened sense of justice. She always defends Eren and tries to direct the young man on the right path, in her opinion. On the other hand, a girl does not always succeed in influencing her brother's decision. Therefore, in some cases, she simply blindly follows him.

To protect her adoptive brother, Mikas, Ackerman learned to fight at a very young age. She is very strong and raises Eren without any effort. During training, Keats praised Mikasa's exemplary performance in each discipline and considered the girl a true genius.
