Balashov is one of the cities of the Saratov region. It is the center of the Balashov district of this region. On the historical map, he appeared in 1780. Geographic features
Directly through this district center flows one of the most beautiful rivers in Russia - the Khoper River. It is a tributary of the Don River. Two railways converge in the city: Povorino-Penza and Tambov-Kamyshin.
