Biography
Nick Carter was born on January 28, 1980 in Jamestown, New York, to the family of Jane Elizabeth Schnek and Robert Carter, who owned a bar called Yankee Rebel. His mother is of Welsh, Irish, German, English and American descent. A few years later, their family moved to Raskin, Florida, where they ran a nursing home. Nick Carter has brothers and sisters: Bobby Jean, Leslie, Aaron and Angel. The singer's parents divorced in 2003. His father remarried Ginger R. Elrod, and in 2005 he had a son, Kaden Brent.
Career
Carter became interested in singing and music from an early age. His mother enrolled the guy in singing and ballet lessons. He auditioned at the theater and dance school at the age of 10.
