December 27, 1971 in Moscow Sergey Bodrov Jr. was born. Today he would have turned 47 years old, but fate decreed otherwise. A talented actor and director died in the prime of life - at 30. The tragedy that occurred in the Karmadon Gorge claimed the lives of 117 people who worked on the set of the film "The Messenger". Sergey’s body was not found under a pile of ice. He is still considered missing.
early years
The future actor did not plan to connect his activities either with television or with filming in the movies, although he was born in the family of a famous director. After school, Sergei went to study as a historian, graduated from Moscow State University, first specialty, then graduate school. In 1998 he defended his thesis. After graduation, he went to work at school, but quickly got bored of such activities. Then he tried himself in journalism and even as a pastry chef.
Long before entering the institute, he began acting. In 1986, his father invited him to take part in the episodic scene for the film "I Hate You." But Sergey Bodrov really debuted in an adult way in the film "Prisoner of the Caucasus". After her, they started talking about him.
The first serious work in the cinema
"Prisoner of the Caucasus" was released in 1995, directed by Sergei Bodrov Sr. His son played a significant role - Vanya Zhilin, who fell into an underground trap. The future "brother" so quickly and organically fit into the role that confused not only the entire set, but also the colleagues in the film - Oleg Menshikov himself. The film gathered simply a scattering of awards, among which were Bodrov’s personally.
