Moscow is conveniently located in the middle zone of Russia. You can get from the capital during the night, for example, by train to some interesting city. Trains from the capital to Ivanovo depart from Yaroslavl and Kursk stations. They can be a locomotive with wagons, which sometimes follows even to Kineshma, and can be represented as a new type of “Swallow” trains.

The distance from Moscow to Ivanovo on the "Swallow" can be reached in less than 4 hours, the schedule of departures from the Kursk station is as follows:

A ticket to a seated car "Swallows" costs from 600 rubles. The train travels through the cities of Vladimir and Shuya, where it makes stops for 20 and 1 minute, respectively.

Standard long-distance trains leave from the Yaroslavl station according to the following schedule:

  • 10:05 p.m.

They travel more slowly, they cover the distance from Moscow to Ivanovo in 6 hours.

Along the way, there is one long stop in the city of Alexandrov and several short stops in Yuryev-Polsky, Teykovo, Kolchugino.

  • reserved seat - from 900 rubles;

  • sleeping - from 3300 rubles.

Trains of the "Swallow" type from Ivanovo to Moscow run according to the following schedule:

In addition, the distance from Moscow to Ivanovo can be traveled by ordinary trains with a transfer in the city of Alexandrov, Vladimir Region.

From Yaroslavl railway station of the capital to Aleksandrov trains run every day from 5 am to 10 pm. The trip takes from 2 to 2.5 hours. A ticket costs 286 rubles.

Some of the trains may be accelerated. They are on the journey for about 100 minutes, make few stops (Sergiev Posad and several other settlements), but the trip will cost more, from 325 to 415 rubles.

From Alexandrov to Ivanovo, the electric train leaves at 16:47 and is in transit from 4.5 to 5 hours. A ticket costs 667 rubles.

Thus, you can leave early in the morning from Moscow to Aleksandrov and take a walk around this ancient city during the day while waiting for the train to Ivanovo, and arrive at your destination late in the evening.

Bus ride

The distance from Moscow to Ivanovo can also be reached by bus. This method has its advantages in comparison with railway transport. For example, buses run much more often than trains of all types. From the Shchelkovskaya metro station they leave for Ivanovo from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. A ticket costs from 750 rubles.

The bus station in Ivanovo is located away from the railway station on Lezhnevskaya street, 152. In this sense, Ivanovo resembles Tyumen.

On the way back, from Ivanovo to Moscow, buses leave essentially around the clock, even at 4 a.m. you can leave.

Car option

By car, the distance from Moscow to Ivanovo can be traveled in 4-5 hours, the time depends on the weather and traffic congestion. From the capital you need to move along the M-7 highway through Pokrov, Petushki, Vladimir, Suzdal and Lezhnevo.

An option is also possible with a trip through the Yaroslavl region. On the highway "E-115" you need to move to Rostov the Great, and then go along the "R-152" through Teykovo.
