Common between Slovakia and Slovenia

Slovenia and Slovakia: what is the difference?
Despite the fact that the populations of both countries speak the languages of the Slavic group, the Slovenes belong to the southern Slavs, and the Slovaks to the western.

If Slovakia is located in the Carpathians in the heart of the mainland, then Slovenia is located in the south of Eastern Europe and has access to the Adriatic Sea. The capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, is a small, almost provincial town. Tourists often do bypass it, aiming at the national parks of the country, ancient castles or the sunny coast.
