This was announced by the fiscal data operator - OFD Platform after analyzing the information received from 900 thousand cash desks located in all Russian regions. And according to the company "Taxcom" this figure is even higher - 7 percent. Russia quits smoking? But not so simple.
Over the same period of time, the demand for sticks of electronic cigarettes grew 4.5 times. At the same time, in pharmacies, a decrease in demand for funds for blockade and treatment of nicotine addiction was noted. Over 10 months of this year, 3 million 100 thousand units were sold, which is 200 thousand less than the same period last year. This trend is especially noticeable in large cities of Russia.
