In general, modern technology is a world of combined devices, hybrids. Now everything is done in a new way: from the simplest lamps to ordinary bicycles. All the old is no longer necessary; they discard it, creating the modern and the new. We can say that the radiation of the Sun permeates every molecule of matter and every quark of the quantum-vacuum (electronic) world. And is it necessary, will the effect of the embodiment of these ideas affect? Is this not a Parthian arrow?

Solar-powered traffic lights are widely used in European countries. In Russia, such traffic lights are not so widespread so far. Statistics show that more than 40% of road accidents (traffic accidents) are collisions with ordinary pedestrians. This usually happens at crossings where there are no traffic lights.

The reasons for this mismanagement are:

  • lack of autonomous energy supply centers; energy cables are not laid along highways;
  • in the regions, the condition of the roads is very different.

Only solar-powered traffic lights and mobile power stations can solve this problem effectively. Installation of solar traffic lights and their cost for the regions is quite acceptable. The price depends on the type of device and is approximately 40-50 thousand rubles.

Features of devices using the energy of the sun

Solar-powered traffic light is a technological development, which uses the latest achievements of alternative energy. It is worth emphasizing: "T7 traffic lights" are abbreviated names of any types of autonomous devices that consume solar energy. This designation is used by designers, writing these characteristics in the technical documentation.

The T7 solar-powered traffic light has a solar panel and LED lamps with optimal light output, as well as high-capacity gel batteries. It is equipped with microprocessor controllers that successfully prevent battery discharge (battery discharge).

Installation and installation of traffic lights

The T 7 solar-powered traffic light is installed on roads where there are no cities and villages and on road sections where road repairs are being carried out. They are also placed at pedestrian crossings so that pedestrians comply with traffic rules; at crossings near schools, kindergartens and educational institutions, where considerable caution is required. Intercity motorways, as well as streets in populated areas far from high-voltage power networks, are also equipped with such modern traffic lights.

T7 solar-powered traffic lights (LGM and STGM) do not require maintenance, but operate in an economical automatic mode. The optimally calculated angle of inclination of the solar panel does not allow snow and other precipitation to accumulate on it. Solar traffic lights of the LGM and STGM types are a system that has anti-vandal functions: the structure is made of stainless steel and painted with anti-corrosion powder paint. Such traffic lights operate smoothly in the dark, and in the winter season, when the Sun does not shine so much.

Standalone device

Autonomous traffic light on solar panels consists of a panel where the batteries are located, and a T7 traffic light connected to them. This LGM system can also be equipped with an LED lamp. Such a system will be called STGM. Such traffic light equipment does not depend on energy, and does not need any other power source, as well as connecting to external power networks.

The energy for the installation comes from the gel battery, which is charged from the solar battery thanks to the processor of the controller. The power station is a single monoblock, ready for operation. Autonomous solar traffic lights have a beautiful view. They are painted with high-strength polymer powder at high temperature. Connections in the monoblock design have sealed connectors that are brought out.

A standalone traffic light device usually includes: a GM power station powered by the sun; recommended T7 traffic light, but equipment with a different type of device is also possible; fasteners; strong bracket for fixing; additional sign for the transition; as well as an LED lamp with a motion sensor for the STGM system.
