It is known that the solar minimum occurs every 11 years, and in 2020, people will be able to see the beginning of the largest solar minimum - a long period of decline in solar activity, which will last 30 years.
Such an event happens once every 400 years. The last time a decrease in solar activity occurred in 1645 and lasted as long as seven decades. Winters were so cold and severe that rivers, for example, the Thames, froze.
