Women are no longer destined to be honored as a thief in law, but history knows several ladies who have taken such a high position in the criminal environment. For what merits did they receive this title, and why was it decided not to “crown” the beautiful half of humanity anymore?
History of Aglaia Demidova
Born in 1937. It was not possible to establish a day or at least a month of its birth. From an early age Aglaya was a “maid of honor” - she was robbing shops and apartments. She planned her crimes in advance, so it was almost impossible to grab her hand. Petty crooks and pickpockets idolized her, and thieves listened to her advice and respected her incredibly dexterous hands and fingers. It cost her nothing to walk around the city market and collect wallets from all the gaping townspeople.
Despite respect and recognition, she was still not allowed to attend meetings. But her opinion was necessarily asked if it was a question of passing a sentence on some fined thief. Sometimes a person’s life depended on her decision. In total, she managed to spend 12 years behind bars.
Deadline
The police tracked Aglaya for a long time. She knew about this and long ago decided to change the place of “work”. The last time the thief decided to walk around the peasant market, where she was red-handed and was taken by employees dressed as ordinary buyers. The trial passed quickly, for the fourth time the girl went through the same article. Five years of hard work in the camp should have set her on the right path, although everyone knew very well that Demidova would never pick up a shovel in her life.
Jail
She could not enter the female hut without problems. A prostitute named Verka Korma has been in charge of everyone there for a long time. She was not going to give the place of "godfather" to anyone, not even a thief in law. Having examined a brand new tattoo on her finger, Verka nevertheless challenged her. Aglaya was forced to establish order in the hut. She quickly put together a gang and kept the entire camp in fear. No one could go against Demidova, because authoritative thieves stood behind her.
Aglaya was not going to stay in prison. She quickly realized who could help her. For gold earrings and a night of love, she persuaded a local doctor to give her a fake certificate, with which she would get to the district hospital and make an escape. But she forgot that her defeated rival is watching her every move. Korma quickly informed where she was going, and Aglaya came over with a guard. The thief went all-in, having managed to attack the woman and hit her several times with his head against the wall. The court sentenced Demidov to be shot.
The escape
Her further history is shrouded in mystery. The woman was transported to the place of execution of the sentence, but along the way she seduced one of the escorts. It is worth noting that there is no photo of a female thief in the law, but, according to eyewitnesses, she was an incredibly attractive special. What happened in the forest on that fateful day is still not known, but Aglaya managed to kill the escort and escape.
Her mistake was the decision to go to her hometown, where her lover lived - the thief Timothy nicknamed Zhigan. Demidova did not yet know that Korma had time to unsubscribe “thieves” about the love affair of Aglaya and the prison doctor. This in the criminal environment was not forgiven. She has already been allowed to live with Timothy once, although according to the rules a thief in law cannot have a husband or wife. And at the meeting they made a decision - to kill Demidov. Instead of a shelter, Zhigan slaughtered his lover, and the thieves' world decided not to crown women anymore.
Thief in law named Kalina
This story is more modern. Kalina Nikiforova could live a comfortable and happy life. Parents early married her to a wealthy old Jewish man. He did not enjoy happiness with the young beauty for a long time and soon left her a decent condition.
But the girl did not begin to live on everything ready, but decided to increase her capital and went to work for Birch. Within a few months, she managed to gain confidence in both officials and criminal authorities. Several thieves in law immediately gave her their protection. She deftly aimed them at citizens who had a lot of money.
First and last term
Carried away by currency fraud, the woman thundered into prison. While serving her sentence, Nikiforova understood what her mistake was, and already knew exactly what she would do in freedom. From now on, it has become the “brain center” of the criminal world. Without personally participating in any crime, she competently did all the calculations and made plans. She did not hesitate to bring thieves even to close friends. The police were powerless - even complicity could not be attributed to her.
At the same time, she actively collaborates with the OBHSS. Helping her criminal buddies to find rich apartments, she rents accomplices to the authorities. Competitors are not sorry - they are the first to go to jail. Working on two fronts, she skillfully hides her real name from the police, and she is known only as a certain Julia.
