Family E.A. Tchaikovsky

In 1939, the daughter Elena was born into the Osipov family of theatergoers. The father of the newborn girl was called Anatoly Sergeyevich Osipov. He was part of the troupe at the Mossovet Theater. His mother, Tatyana Mikhailovna, who bore the name Holman, had German roots. She worked as an actress in the same theater as Elena Anatolyevna's father.

From an early age, Elena Tchaikovsky began to learn acting. The life of theatergoers' children often proceeds behind the scenes. Parents-actors often took little Lena to rehearsals. She knew by heart the roles of some artists.

After the war, A. S. Osipov was offered to star with his daughter in the film "Machine 22-12". This was the girl’s first significant step towards the career of an artist. However, fate decreed otherwise.

Way to sport

The second important activity of Lena Osipova was sports. True, he, unlike the theater, which came into the life of a child of actors in a natural way, was originally a forced measure. During the war years, the German origin of Elena's mother did not go unnoticed by the Soviet authorities. She and her daughter after the outbreak of hostilities, like many Russified Germans, were expelled from the capital.

Throughout the war Tatyana Mikhailovna and Elena lived in a remote Kazakh village. Severe life greatly undermined the health of Lena. Upon her return to Moscow, she was shown to doctors who, during the examination, revealed a serious lung disease. It was this disease that became the reason that Elena Tchaikovskaya began to engage in figure skating.

Doctors recommended that Lena stay more in the fresh air, especially in winter. Anatoly Sergeyevich took his daughter to the rink at the Stadium of Young Pioneers. From there began the ascent of an outstanding figure skating star and a terrific coach.

The life of a schoolgirl closed in an uncomplicated triangle: schoolwork - theater backstage - ice rink. Over time, figure skating rose to its top, which led Elena to incredible success. The young skater more than once became the winner of the championships of Russia in single skating. In 1957, Tchaikovsky Elena Anatolyevna beat all rivals in the USSR championship.

The girl received higher education at GITIS, studying at the ballet master's department together with famous dancers. Rostislav Zakharov, the legendary artist of the Soviet Union, having talked with the girl, decided on an experiment - the preparation of the first choreographer who could create performances on ice.

Studying at GITIS took Elena away all the time, so she left the big sport. Thanks to the persistence and complete dedication of the student, the results of the experiment were brilliant. Subsequently, a faculty for the training of ice choreographers involved in training athletes in figure skating schools will be created at GITIS. To this day, the professor and ingenious trainer Elena Tchaikovskaya is leading this faculty.
