Evgeny Otstavnov began his career on television with a game in KVN. Subsequently, he took part in many humorous projects.

Youth

Eugene was born in 1983 in Moscow. After graduation, he entered the first year of the Moscow State Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation. Ostavnov immediately became interested in KVN and began to play “An exception to the rule” in the team of his university. However, the beginner comedian did not receive a diploma - Otstastnov was expelled in the fifth year. However, Yevgeny Otstavnov did not fall into despair, but began to look for other ways to success. Optimism has helped him to get out of life’s dead ends more than once, and his sense of humor has transformed even the saddest days.

A television

In 2007, TNT aired the show Laughter Without Rules. The program was a competition of novice comedians who fought for a cash prize. Otstanov Yevgeny also took part in it. He attracted the interest of the public and the jury not only with witty performances, but also because he went on stage in a polar bear costume. In addition, he changed his real name to the pseudonym Bear-Mashechkin. The main feature of his performances was a laid-back style. Eugene did not read from the sheet, but simply had a friendly conversation with the audience, as if with old acquaintances. He also participated in the improvisational stages of the competition. He jokes like he breathes - this expression perfectly characterizes Ostvastnov.

Evgeni Otstavnov did not become a winner, but reached the final. This allowed him to participate in the related project "Slaughter League." There, a comedian, after some time, appeared before the audience without a mysterious costume. It turned out that he put it on, having lost in the dispute, and came to the casting. Even the parents were not aware that it was their son who was hiding under the guise of a mysterious beast. Having declassified his appearance, a stately comedian with a shock of red hair and an infectious smile gained even more fans. Yevgeny Otstavnov also often became a guest of the "Good Night" show, where he and the rest discussed the latest news in a comic style. It is interesting that the host of the program was a former classmate and old friend of Eugene, Pavel Vinogradov. Otstanov also managed to try himself as a leader in the New Year's release of “Slaughter League”. Unfortunately, in 2009 all three projects were taken off the air. Regular viewers of the show tried to reach out to the channel’s leadership, but nothing came of it, and the “Slaughter League” sank into oblivion.

Further on-screen appearances

Participation in the top three humorous programs on TNT brought Eugene popularity and the first connoisseurs of his humor and original monologues. Moreover, he managed to find real friends there who were close in spirit to him, for example, Konstantin Pushkin and Anton Borisov. Together with Borisov, Eugene later even performed in a duet.

Having managed to become at least a little known, Evgeny Otstanov was invited to the role of Private Stepanov in the fifteenth season of the series "Soldiers", which began in 2008 on the Ren-TV channel. In the story, Stepanov is trying to find work in Moscow, leads corporate parties, drawing on the experience of playing in KVN. Once a military commissar takes him to the service. Evgeny Otstanov, whose biography is very similar to the hero’s biography, embodied the serial image with pleasure. A new creative task was successfully completed by him. In one of the series, Ostavnov starred with the host of “Laughter without rules” Vladimir Turchinsky.

In 2011, the Ren-TV channel launched the comedy project Bunker News. There, among all the participants of the "smash", Eugene was invited. He was again able to please the audience with sparkling monologues. In the same year, as part of a new TNT project “Comedy Battle. Tournament”, Ostavnov competed with residents of the Comedy Club and other comedians on the Aristocrats team.
