Determining the location of the BKN

If this unit is closer to the boiler equipment, then heat removal will be more efficient, as well as heat transfer to hot water supply. The boiler is installed in the boiler room, however, sometimes this component of the system can be found in:
- Bathrooms
- corridors;
- utility rooms.
In this case, the heat removal will not be as effective as in the case with the scheme when the heating equipment is located in the boiler room. But this solution has its advantages, expressed in the fact that consumers will be closer to the boiler, the heat loss will decrease, as well as the waiting time for hot water.
Boiler installation in the boiler room
The indirect heating boiler "Drazhitsa" can be located in the boiler room, in this case one of the installation options of the device can be used. For example, wall mounted horizontal devices are supplied with fittings as a kit for mounting to a vertical surface. Floor boilers do not have fittings, but they will need to be supplemented with stands for floor mounting.
You should not install a floor boiler on the wall, because such an attempt can end in disrepair. If the device, which contains a large amount of water, falls from the wall, then the entire first floor will be flooded with boiling water. Therefore, the boiler must be installed as planned by the manufacturer.
When the “Drazhitsa” indirect heating boiler is mounted, you need to make sure that the outlet and inlet pipes for the outlet and supply of the coolant are facing the boiler equipment. Otherwise, the master will have to suffer, equipping the system of contours, corners and tubes. At the same time, the boiler piping will turn out to be a “curve”. If the work is done correctly, you will receive two direct taps from the system.
Connection of a boiler to heating and hot water supply
Indirect heating boiler “Drazhitsa” is to be connected to heating and domestic hot water. Once you install the device in place, you can begin to connect. It has several nozzles, namely: the exit of the hot coolant from the cold and hot water of the hot water supply.
When the circulation of hot water is organized, the last two pipes will be the outlet of the heated water and the inlet of the warm coolant. Until the taps at the points of the fence are open, the water will circulate through the hot water supply system, at which point it is heated to the desired temperature. As soon as the tap opens, the liquid will go to the consumer.

If hot water supply works on the principle of hot water circulation, then a circulation pump must be added to the circuit; it is installed in front of the inlet pipe of hot water supply. The indirect heating boiler "Drazhice-200" is connected in such a way that the device can be excluded from the general circuit if necessary. Such a need arises during repair and maintenance. To do this, you must install a bypass on the outputs and inputs.
Principles of connecting a boiler
Water will be supplied to the unit in two circuits, the first of which is heating, connected to a home heating system. Another circuit is used for heated water, which is supplied from the water supply system and discharged to the kitchen or bathroom.
Indirect heating boiler "Drazhitsa-160" is installed taking into account certain principles. Among them are the following:
- the need to supply cold water to the bottom of the device;
- hot water outlet at the top of the unit;
- flow of coolant into the tank from top to bottom.

Strapping options
Most often, when connecting an indirect heating boiler, one of three main schemes is used, namely:
- use of circulation pumps;

Among other things, it must be borne in mind that there are options for using a recirculation system that improves the quality of hot water in an apartment or house.
Features of using a three-way valve when connecting
If in your house hot water is consumed in large volumes, it is recommended to use a three-way valve when connecting an indirect heating boiler. This creates two circuits, one of them heats the room, while the other is required to heat the water in the device. To distribute the flow between them, a three-way valve is installed, controlled by a thermostat.
This system works according to a certain principle. As soon as the temperature in the tank drops below the required value, the valve will pump the coolant to the heating circuit of the device. After the water heats up, the valve returns the flow to the main circuit. The main role in this will be played by heating the liquid in the tank, but not the heating circuit.
"Dragee" is an indirect heating boiler (200 liters), which has a three-way valve. It is recommended for areas where water in the water supply system is hard. In this case, it is worth abandoning the use of a dual-circuit boiler, because its elements will fail in a short time.
Main disadvantages
Boiler of indirect heating "Drazhitsa", the connection of which can be carried out by you according to the above principle, has not only advantages, but also disadvantages. As one of the main acts high cost. Sometimes consumers consider the installation complexity to be a drawback. However, this statement is true only for beginning masters who have not previously encountered installation works of this type.
In some cases, the need to install a heat pump, as well as a solar collector, is also called a drawback. Devices of this manufacturer sometimes turn out to be inertial. If the unit has a large water capacity, it will take a long time to heat up. In size, such equipment is superior to flow-through heaters in the type of geysers; therefore, installation requires not only additional free space, but also a separate room.
