Primorsky Krai is rightfully proud of the largest concert organization in the number of available groups. Philharmonic, Vladivostok - the place of its permanent location, consists of such groups as:
- pop orchestra;
- Quartet "Sadko", playing on Russian folk instruments;
- Pacific Symphony Orchestra;
- pop-vocal duet.
The stage of the Philharmonic saw many leading soloists who conquered the musical Olympus of the capital of Russia and the international stage.
Years of history
October 1939 is the date that the Primorsky Regional Philharmonic Society remembers and celebrates. Vladivostok on this day received not only a musical institution, but also a cultural organization participating in state programs.
The building itself was originally associated with the intelligentsia. At the beginning of the 20th century there was a theater where such famous things as the Aida by J. Verdi were staged.
Before the Philharmonic Hall was located in the building, there was also a theater for a young audience, and a drama, and even an opera.
Modern look
Despite the long existence of the Philharmonic, she received a full-fledged concert hall only in 1980. For chamber performances, a small hall was later added.
Now, employees not only take part in all cultural events of a national scale, but also organize tours of foreign performers. Russian figures are also not bypassed. Such famous artists as Elena Obraztsova, Yuri Bashmet, Boris Voron, Pavel Ovsyannikov, Dmitry Hvorostovsky, Lyubov Kazarnovskaya performed on the stage of the Primorsky Regional Philharmonic.

The institution considers the main direction of its activity the development of creative groups that will contribute to the promotion of true values to the masses. Vladivostok Philharmonic Society is conducting cultural events of an international format in the Primorsky Territory. Concerts held within its walls combine the best Russian and foreign performers.
"Far Eastern Spring." Festival of classical music. 25 years have passed and invariably gathers many connoisseurs of beauty and eternity. The festival has accumulated a lot of amazing concert numbers, which are included in the golden fund of its history.
The event is attended by artists from Russia, Japan, France, USA, Germany and Korea. The best teams of Vladivostok invariably are the decoration of the holiday.
Within the framework of the festival, the project “New Names in Primorye”, which also hosts the Philharmonic, stands in a special place. Vladivostok is considered the forge of new young talents, which are revealed and supported through ongoing activities.
International Jazz Festival. Spent more than 10 years. In the Far Eastern District, this event is the largest in its format. The guests and participants of the concerts are many jazz fans from Russia and other countries.
International projects
In addition to organizing concerts, philharmonic artists take part in various projects. Among them are particularly distinguished:

Within the framework of the Year of Russia in China, the best artists and creative groups went on a tour in this country. And the ensemble "Terziya" took part in the filming of the local program.
Philharmonic for children
