Local elections
Natalia Komarova was one of three candidates nominated by the Russian president for the post of governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Okrug - Ugra. During the election, 28 out of 35 deputies voted for her. But her competitors were out of work. Only 7 votes were received by the representative of the State Duma Serdyuk M., the current mayor Savintsev S. did not receive a single vote.
It is worth noting that Natalya Komarova has been in this position since 2010. Then it was represented by a resident and approved by the district Duma of the region.
The inauguration of the newly elected governor took place on September 13 in Khanty-Mansiysk.

N. Komarova was born in 1955, on October 21, in the Pskov region, in a village. An ulcer of the Lyadsky district. At the moment she is married, she has 2 daughters.
In 1978, Natalya Komarova received a diploma in Economics and Organization of Construction, graduating from the Mining and Metallurgical Communal Institute. She began her career in Ukraine, in the city of Kommunarsk, at a local metallurgical plant. She held the position of labor technician, economist of the planning and economic department of the UKS.
In 1980, she already lived in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, in the Tyumen Region, in the city of Novy Urengoy. From 1980 to 1988 She worked in the city executive committee as a senior inspector and senior economist. After that, her career went up sharply.
Political activity in Novy Urengoy

In October 2000, Natalia Komarova received a new position. She became the first deputy governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. In this position, her competence included questions of finance and economics. She also chaired the County Economic Council. Komarova worked as first deputy until December 2001.
In December 2001, she was elected as a deputy of the State Duma of the third convocation in the Yamalo-Nenets constituency in the by-elections to replace V. Transition to Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug

Since March 1, 2010 Natalya Vladimirovna headed the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra. It is one of the largest oil producing regions in the world. It is the main oil region of the Federation. This district is considered the donor region of Russia.
Natalya Komarova spent five years at the post. After the end of the specified period from 03/01/2015 to election day, she continued to manage the region as an acting governor.
Activities as the head of the district
During the management of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Natalya Vladimirovna was engaged not only in the fulfillment of her duties. She actively participated in various events in the region.
So, in December 2010, it was Natalia Komarova, the governor of the region, who participated in the opening of the fair-exhibition “Products of the Yugorskaya Land”, which was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the district.

Natalya Vladimirovna began to lead the Khanty-Mansiysk District on the proposal of the President of Russia, which was supported by local deputies. But this is not her only achievement.
