Prediction of weather according to popular beliefs is an invaluable legacy that we received from our ancestors who observed nature and the relationship of all life in it. Signs helped the farmers to determine the beginning of sowing, harvesting, the onset of a cold or thaw.

Of course, for a modern person, all this has somewhat lost its relevance, but still it has not become unnecessary knowledge.

Signs of the weather: the rain

• If flowers, acacia and jasmine bushes smell stronger, and midges fly in large numbers over them, then it will rain soon.

• Many trees before bad weather get rid of moisture, "crying" and dropping dew.

• The day before the rain, the spruce trees lower their paws and tightly squeeze the scales of the cones.

• It is good to hear loud twitter of birds after a prolonged rain - sunny weather sets in.

• Abundant dew on the grass in the morning and evening is also a harbinger of a clear hot day.

• If the stars of the Milky Way are clearly visible at night, the good weather has settled for a long time.

• A bright month in the sky may portend a drought.

• Strong heat is also predicted by bees sitting on the walls of the hives.

• In anticipation of a clear day in the evening, after sunset, bats hover in the air for a long time.

• If the fireflies are bright at night, the day will be clear.

• The onset of good weather after rain is also foreshadowed by butterflies that appeared at a time when clouds were still visible in the sky.
