Vladimir Vasiliev was born in the suburbs. Many are interested in its national origin. The mother of the politician is Russian, the father is Kazakh. Both parents were teachers: Ali Asanbaevich Asanbaev - teacher, Nadezhda Ivanovna Vasilieva - kindergarten teacher. They met in Kazakhstan, where Nadezhda Ivanovna was a summer student as a student.

In the State Duma of the 6th convocation, Vladimir Abdualievich became a member of the committee on combating corruption and security. For several months he was the head of the commission for monitoring data on income and property that each of the deputies of the Russian State Duma should provide.
