We live in a century when, having met a woman on a city street with a stroller or just with a baby in her arms, it is difficult to unequivocally and confidently answer who her child is: a mother, grandmother, sister or nanny.
The youngest grandmother: the relevance of the issue
Perhaps, every modern person has heard about the problem of the aging of the nation. It arises when, for some reason, there are more people of retirement age in the state than young people. As a rule, this phenomenon is quite common in Western Europe. Here, young people prefer to first get on their feet, build a business, acquire their own housing and only then think about the offspring.
That is why the most "oldest" mother of the world was here - Spaniard Maria del Carmen Bousada. I would not want to apply the word "old" to this woman, let her be "adult". And the courage of a 67-year-old woman cannot but arouse respect. At this age, the title “young grandmother” would not have been suitable, and the woman managed to bear and give birth, though with the help of a caesarean section, two amazing babies.
In developing and, as a rule, in poor countries women give birth earlier. What is the reason for this? According to scientists, this is due to poor awareness of contraception, with a lack of sufficient funds not only for birth control pills for women, but even for condoms for men. Very often, eleven-year-olds and twelve-year-olds have sex for the sake of curiosity, because there is nothing more to do, because they are not interested in studying, careers, or future life. They grow up on TVs and computers, where sex has long become something familiar.

According to official figures, the youngest grandmother of the planet now is Rifka Stanescu, a 23-year-old resident of Romania.
It so happened that the woman gave birth to her first child at age 12. The baby was called Maria, and exactly one and a half years later her brother Nikolai was born. According to the Romanian herself, her children were born as a result of true and pure love, which she rarely had to see in her parents' house. The poverty of a half-gypsy family dictated its rules. And Rifka's father decided to marry his daughter to the son of a successful businessman at that time. However, the girl, learning about this, fled with her lover, a seller from the jewelry store Ionel Stanescu, who was only a couple of years older than her Juliet.
This couple still lives together. And recently, they became famous as the youngest grandparents of the planet, as their twelve-year-old daughter Maria gave birth to a son, Jonah.
In official sources, it was not possible to find information about who could qualify for the title "Youngest Grandmother" in our country. Not even a pattern is observed. On the one hand, experts argue that a tendency to early motherhood is observed among residents of the Caucasian region, and on the other hand, as is known, the Muscovite Valya Isaeva, who gave birth to her daughter at 13, has become the youngest mother to this day.
