Sergey Yakovlev is a famous domestic actor. He played in the cinema and theater. In 1985, became the owner of the title of People's Artist of the RSFRS.
Actor Biography
Sergey Yakovlev was born in 1925 in the city of Kurgan. He suffered many trials in childhood. His parents were repressed. Therefore, the hero of our article was brought up in a special orphanage located in his hometown. Over time, he was adopted by a major Soviet official, the People's Commissar for Foreign Trade of the Soviet Union, Sudin. However, he fell under the Stalinist repressions and was shot in 1938.
After his death, Sergei Yakovlev was brought up by stepmother Maria Feofanova. She was an artist and actress. I returned to myself the maiden name, which I gave to the boy.
In 1943, Sergei was drafted to the front. Before the victory, he participated in the Great Patriotic War.
Acting education
The stepmother instilled in him a love of art and creativity. Therefore, after school, he decided to enter GITIS. He graduated from the Institute of Theater Arts in 1952. Then he became an actor in a drama theater, which was based at the Central House of Culture of Railway Workers in Moscow. On this scene, he worked for 5 years.
In 1957, Sergei Yakovlev became an actor in the famous metropolitan theater on Malaya Bronnaya. In the 60s, he collaborated with the Lenin Komsomol Theater, and at the end of his career he played in the theater-studio of the film actor.
His colleagues recall that Sergey Yakovlev, whose photo is in this article, was able to captivate the public with his monologues. However, he did a lot of painting. Here, too, the influence of his stepmother affected. Yakovlev turned his apartment, located on one of the Arbat lanes, into a real mini-gallery. And he wrote in a variety of genres and directions.

Personal life
Yakovlev was married three times. But his most famous marriage is the last. His chosen one was Natalia Yurkova, a Soviet poetess. He is the author of poetry collections “The City in the Dandelion”, “Where He Hides Yesterday”, “The Traveler Lived Alone”, “Do not Offend the Hare”. Together with her husband, she wrote the book Ursa Major.
The actor had four children. From the first marriage - son Alexander and daughter Lyubov. From the second marriage - the daughter of Ingrid and from the last - the son Anton.
Literary work
Sergei Yakovlev’s wife helped him write a novel called The Coup. In it, they realized their joint creative potential.
The work was later staged. Yakovlev staged a play based on it, which was successfully performed in the capital’s movie theater of the actor.
For the same stage, the spouse of the hero of our article wrote the play "Miracle on the Arbat", directed by Yakovlev.
Actor's death
In the last years of his life, Yakovlev worked actively with Yurkova on the novel in verses "Ursa Major". It was dedicated to the fate of the domestic intelligentsia of the 20th century. All chapters are written in a single verse size.
After his death, Yurkova retained the given style and finished the work.
Yakovlev died in 1966. He is buried in the capital at the Vagankovsky cemetery. A memorial was erected on his grave, which was performed by the sculptor Vladimir Evropentsev.
After the death of the hero of our article, his daughter from her first marriage arranged a lawsuit over an apartment with Yurkova, which she hated and publicly announced. However, she could not challenge the rights to real estate. The court dismissed her claim.
