Description
The Vostok-1 traumatic pistol of 9 mm RA caliber is a modern firearm of limited destruction (TOR). You can buy it only with a special license. The traumatic pistol Vostok-1 is designed on the basis of the Ukrainian Fort model. It is produced in the city of Klimovsk (Russia). Masters of the Klimovsk specialized cartridge plant, this model of "trauma" is available in two versions:
- design with an aluminum frame - the Vostok model;
- design with a polymer frame - model "East-1".
The traumatic gun was known to many JOP fans as the Jorge. After the design improvements, the “injury” was named in a new way.
Decor
Compared with its counterpart, the Vostok traumatic gun looks more modern. The name of the upgraded version of the gun is applied to its casing-bolt.
In the manufacture of the case used high-quality weapon plastic. As sighting devices in a traumatic gun, a front sight and a rear sight are used. Their difference from similar devices in the “Jorge” is that the fasteners of the front sight in the new “injury” are made more rigid, and the shape of the pillar is smoothed.
Design changes
The traumatic pistol "Vostok" is characterized by the reliable operation of mechanics. The springs, pins, internal parts and parts of the gun are made of modern, very high quality stainless steel. Plastic elements of the gun look quite aesthetically pleasing. This plastic due to its high content (30%) of long carbon fibers has high strength and durability.
The working parts in the trigger mechanism have a modified geometry. Due to this, the masters of the Klimovsk specialized plant managed to reduce the effort during the descent by one and a half kilos. This indicator is characteristic for firing with a self-platoon and with a preliminary platoon. Design improvements allowed to mitigate the descent as much as possible. As evidenced by the numerous reviews of the owners of this weapon, pistol shooting is highly accurate.
The model uses a double-action trigger. In the operation of automation, the principle of recoil of the free shutter is applied. Disassembling the "East-1" has become much easier due to the location of its return spring on the guide. The safe operation of this traumatic pistol is ensured by a flag fuse, which is longer in comparison with the similar device in Jorge.
Gun barrel
In the model of the Vostok pistol, both the configuration of the barrel and the method of fixing it with a frame have been changed. High stability of the barrel is achieved by thickening its walls. An increase in their thickness prevents possible bloating or tearing during zaping. After the gunsmiths adjusted the internal structure of the barrel, accuracy when firing from this modernized traumatic gun doubled.
Subject to changes in the external configuration and the mounting method with the frame, this traumatic gun is suitable for the use of large-caliber ammunition.
