Childhood and youth

Yana was born in 1989, on July 7, in the city of Chutovo. She spent a significant part of her life in the company of her mother and younger brother David. Today her relatives live in Kharkov, and Yana - in the capital of Ukraine.

Interest in music appeared in the girl at an early age. At 8, she actively participated in contests and festivals, including such reputable events as Chervona Ruta and I Want to Be a Star. The creative way of the singer

In 2006, Solomko’s talent was noticed by Ukrainian producer I. Kondratyuk during her participation in the Chance rating program. In 2011, Solomko Yana decided to participate in the first season of the Ukrainian project “The Bachelor”. The singer differed from her rivals not only in a pure and emotional voice, but also in her charm, simplicity and restraint. These features helped the girl reach the finals. The next stage of Solomko’s creative biography was connected with the pop group REAL O. The collective managed to record several songs (“Moon”, “Fir-trees”, “Without It”, etc.), after which Yana realized that she would be more comfortable performing solo. Then she released the song “Anthem of a happy woman”, “For you” and others. In December 2014, the artist went to Turkey in order to undergo a blind audition in the project “Voice”. Yana Solomko, whose photo is located above, performed the Ukrainian folk song “Verbova Plaque”, which captivated three out of five coaches. In 2016, the singer became the host of the sixth season of the television program STB “Weighted and happy.” She recently recorded two songs - Zakohan and Mata Hari. A music video was shot for the last song in January 2018.
