early years
Evgenia Nikolaevna Kozyreva was born on October 20, 1920 in Smolensk. After school, she entered an aviation school, graduating from which (in 1941), she immediately went to the front. Since 1942, she served as deputy head of the author of the aerodrome service, and since 1943 she became secretary of the political department of the first air fighter army. In this position, she met her future husband, pilot Nikolai Naumov, a hero of the Soviet Union, and later a lieutenant general of aviation.
After the war ended and demobilization, sergeant Evgenia Kozyreva decided to permanently leave military activity, since the Great Patriotic War left too much shock in her soul. In 1947, twenty-seven-year-old Eugene became a student of the acting faculty of GITIS.
