Irina Igorevna Gubanova is a Soviet and Russian actress who starred in more than 30 films. For a long time, she was an artist of the Moscow Theater Studio of a film actor, worked on NTV, NTV + channels and in the AV-Video company, duplicating characters in foreign films, mainly in television series.

Irina Gubanova was born in Leningrad on the eve of the war. She and her mother evacuated in the city of Orsk, in the Urals. And after the war everyone returned to their native Leningrad. After 2 years, Irina's father left the family. She was only seven years old when this happened. Since then, her mother, Antonina Sergeyevna Minaeva, raised her alone.

Great cinema and great love came to Irina almost simultaneously. At the film studio, she met with her future husband - Sergei Gurzo.
By this time, he had already starred in The Young Guard, where he played the role of Sergei Tyulenin, instantly making him an all-Union celebrity. Such a quick take-off was not in vain for the psyche of the actor, as it often happens. Each fan of his talent, according to Russian custom, considered it his duty to treat his idol with a drink, he himself made a reciprocal gesture, and so on - according to a well-known pattern.
Ironically, Sergey Gurzo’s father was a famous narcologist, but even he was not able to persuade his son to start treatment for alcohol dependence. The former wife, Nadezhda Samsonova, also did not recognize his illness, calling it "household drinking" and in every possible way protecting the spouse's reputation out of respect for his talent.
As a result, Gurzo was dismissed from the actor’s Theater, his wife deprived him of a residence permit, and he was forced to move from Moscow to Leningrad in order to try to change his life. Rising star Irina Gubanova breathed into him hope for a change of fate. She took his name in return, becoming for a while Iraida Gurzo. A year later, their daughter Anna was born, but the family lasted only about seven years (again this is an “unlucky number”).

The wonderful role of Polina played by the actress attracted the attention of the directors, and the role of pampered and sophisticated aristocrats, princesses and ladies with an alien, "foreign" psychology was entrenched to her.
However, in 1963, Irina Gubanova was able to show her talent on the other hand. In the film of I. Annensky “The First Trolleybus” she played the charming and feminine Svetlana Soboleva, who did not want to get an education and get married. Instead, she decided to become a trolley bus driver and found her true vocation in this profession.

The audience remembered the role of the silencer Sonya, which Irina Gubanova brilliantly played in the film “War and Peace” - an epic created by S. Bondarchuk (1965-1967).
