Everyone knows that Condoleezza Rice (photo) is 66 in a row and the first Secretary of State for sex and skin color. Her biography and track record can be found on many Internet resources. It is much more interesting to track the stages of her path, because not every black American, even a man, manages to occupy such a high post. Perhaps, following the process of its formation, it will be possible to more accurately evaluate this extraordinary personality in its own way.
“I will be here …”
When little Condoleezza was only eight years old, her father, a teacher at one of the US Universities, brought the girl on an excursion to the White House. Unlike other children, she did not look at the situation, but concentrated on something. Then, looking into the eyes of her father, she said: "… I will end up here." Already then, in early childhood, the girl set a goal: to take a place in the White House.
She was not embarrassed by her skin color, nor the lack of political ties with her parents. Condoleezza Rice achieved her goal: having graduated from the University of Denver, having changed many administrative posts, having worked as director of the Security Council on the USSR, this lady was the first non-white woman to take the post of Secretary of State.
Condolysis and democracy
On the wall of the office of the woman secretary of state is a speech by J. Marshall, in which he proposes a plan for the post-war reorganization of Europe. Condoleezza Rice considers herself his successor. She says with confidence that the States are the only country in the world that brings democracy and prosperity to the peoples of the Eastern countries. She sincerely believes that only the United States, with its intervention in the internal affairs of many countries, with its weapons, can bring peace to the eastern peoples. Condoleezza Rice says that in the area where she grew up, the word "democracy" did not exist. However, the country managed to build it, despite the barriers and opinions of those who disagree. Maybe lady-66 understands the word “democracy” in her own way, but she doesn’t back one iota from her opinion. The ability to work, perseverance and strict adherence to their own principles are appreciated by the leaders of many countries. The Secretary of State is truly committed to the team she works with. Comparing her perseverance, confidence and efficiency with her own convictions, one of the sites stated that the political figure of Condoleezza Rice was as effective as the Stalinist people's commissars during the war.
“… nothing to talk about with Putin”
Condoleezza is more than critical of Russia. Firstly, because her concept of democracy does not coincide with the understanding of this term by Putin and Medvedev. Secondly, because I am sure that the reset of relations took place only on the part of the United States, and Russia is not going to do this. Condoleezza Rice has always spoken negatively about Russia. Secretary of State 66 does not like that Russia supported the UN Resolution on the Iran issue, sharply criticizes the country's policy in Syria, and granting asylum to E. Snowden publicly called the “slap in the face” of the United States. “Russia, ” Condoleezza Rice is convinced, “is a power that has lost its power. And so Obama has nothing to talk about with the President of Russia.” Some politicians are convinced that the time is not far off when a black woman with her own views and enormous capacity for work will become the President of America.
