The third interchange circuit of the Moscow metro is the working name of the line, which is supposed to connect promising and existing radial branches. This would allow unloading the existing stations. Next, we will consider how the project of the third metro interchange circuit is being implemented.

Prerequisites for development

As you know, the largest city in Russia with the most extensive underground transportation system is Moscow. The project of the third interchange circuit of the metro became the embodiment of the idea that appeared in 1985. It consisted in the creation of high-speed chord branches for connecting remote territories with central regions. In total, it was supposed to build 4 lines. The sections between their intersection would become the 3rd landing contour.

New stage

In 2005, the plan of the third interchange circuit of the Moscow metro was again presented. By this time, the construction of the site was completed, consisting of a station at the lower level of the center of Moscow City Business Center (Business Center) and the Khodynskoye Pole station, where the Grand Park residential complex was under construction. At the same time, the first section of the third interchange circuit of the Moscow metro - the Solntsevskaya line - was erected with interruptions and delays. In this regard, it was decided to begin the construction of the TPK as a separate branch. As a launch site, a section from Art. Business center to Dynamo.

Initial stage of implementation

The initial project of the launch site was based on the 2nd version of the feasibility study for the extension of the Kalinin branch between the stations "Business Center" and "People’s Militia" and then to Strogino. It was decided to combine the Kalinin and Solntsevsky radii. As a result of this, two sections were "freed". They became part of the Solntsevo-Mytishchi line (from the Business Center towards Begovaya), then VDNKh, and then the extension of the Kalinin section to the People’s Militia. At the same time, they decided to abandon the line of the first radius. Instead, the line should have been developed from the "Business Center" through the "Shelepinsky Bridge", "Trunk" to the station. "Dnevniki". From the last station, the line was traced to Dynamo and passed through the Khodynskoye Pole area. No development was planned on this territory at the time of designing the lines and creating a feasibility study for the Kalininsky section. It was this area that became the cornerstone in the construction of the TPK.

Estimated stations

In accordance with the initial idea, the third interchange circuit of the Moscow metro at the launch site was to include 9 stations. They should have become:

  1. "Shmitovskaya".

  2. "Shelepikhinskaya".

  3. "Olympic".

  4. "Krasnopresnensky Ave."

  5. "Polezhaevskaya".

  6. "Khodynsky field-1".

  7. "Khodynsky field-2".

  8. "Leningradsky Prospect".

  9. "Dynamo".

The total length of the site is 9.7 km. For five years (from 2005 to 2010), construction was not carried out. In 2011, the project was intensified, and it began to be discussed again. Along with this, the previous schemes were corrected. So, the total length of the previous section was reduced to 9.1 km, the number of proposed stations to six. A new line was added to the first stage. The construction of the line from Art. Petrovsky Park (Dynamo) to Nizhny Maslovka. The branch is 1.9 km long.

Further development issues

The second metro ring (third interchange circuit) was unevenly constructed. In the diagram, comparative clarity was relative to the northern radius. In particular, the line from Nizhny Maslovka went through the Maryina Roshcha station, then Riga, Krasnoselskaya, then Baumanskaya and Lefortovo to the station "Aviamotornaya". From there the Kozhukhov branch began. What should be the third interchange circuit of the Moscow metro in the southern radius remained unclear. At the end of 2011, a proposal was put forward to combine the northern and southern radii. As a result, the third interchange circuit of the Moscow metro should go from Khoroshevskaya through the People’s Militia (intersection with Zhukov avenue), then along the BKL highway to Kuntsevskaya through Nizhny Mnevniki, Michurinsky Prospect, pr t Vernadsky ", then" Kaluga ", then" Kakhovskaya "with the accession of this line, then from" Kashirskaya "via st. "Nagatinsky Zaton", further - Art. "Pechatniki" and "Tekstilshchiki", "Nizhny Novgorod street" and close at st. "Aviamotornaya". In this form, the TPK designated the Resolution of the Government of the capital on May 4, 2012. It is assumed that the third metro transfer circuit will be launched by 2018.

Launch line development

If the above option is implemented, the fate of the launch site from Khoroshevskaya to the Delovoy Tsentr station becomes unclear. This segment was not abandoned, although it is not included in the general scheme of the TPK as a ring. The construction of this line continues as part of the launch line, but its further prospect has not been determined. It was proposed to return to the original version of the feasibility study to continue the Kalinin line. In accordance with it, a cut from Art. "Business Center" through Art. The Shelepikha and one more intermediate would last until the People’s Militia. A transplant was supposed from the last point. Further, the branch would go through pr. M. Zhukova to the station. "Picturesque". In this case, the Shelepikha-Khoroshevskaya branch would become a double-track connecting line, and the entire section would be an independent radius.

New adjustments

They occurred in the spring of 2012. It was proposed to carry out a segment from Riga to Art. "Aviamotornaya" not through Art. Krasnoselskaya and Baumanskaya, and according to Sokolniki and Elektrozavodskaya. This option will greatly simplify the construction and allow you to move the line from Koltsevaya even further. After re-routing throughout the TPK, only 1 segment of deep laying was provided for - from Art. "Lower Maslovka" to the station. "Marina Grove".

Features of the construction scheme

The plan, according to which the creation of the third interchange contour was supposed to be carried out, made it possible in the future to return, if necessary, to the chord variant with the possibility of creating both route movement and absolute division of the branch into separate segments. To implement this task in 2012, the scheme was adjusted. So, 4 four-way interchange nodes were designed. They are parallel stations with cross-platform (combined) sections and 2 sets of exit chambers. This will allow you to organize movement on any desired route. As such nodes are art. "Maryina Roscha", "Nizhny Novgorod St.", "Nagatinsky Zaton" and Art. "Aminievskoe highway". As the information from the Metrostroy website indicates, the third interchange circuit (Moscow) began to be built by SMU Ingeokom LLC. Development of a launch site scheme from the "Business Center" to the station. Nizhny Maslovka was carried out by Metrogiprotrans. The remaining branch was initially designed by Mosinzhproekt.

Construction progress

Judging by how the developed program is being implemented, many citizens express the opinion that the third metro transfer circuit will be built at the turn of 2019-2020. The construction of branches began in November 2011. The next year, 2012, on August 1, construction of 1 tunnel began to be carried out in the direction of the "Business Center". Initially, it was supposed to transit Art. "Khoroshevskaya" and "Shelepikha". However, the work was quite difficult and only in December 2013 was completed. By that time, the passage of two more tunnels had begun: right (eastern) and left (western).

At the same time, in 2013, the circuit was again slightly changed. So, the Maryina Roshcha station was redesigned for shallow laying. Her location was shifted north. As a result, only the Nizhny Maslovka station remained a deep laying site. It was suggested that part of the tunnels be built by double-track ones using TPMK of a larger diameter than on other sections. In 2014, the passage of the right (eastern) section began. He ran from Art. "Khodynskoe Field" to the "Petrovsky Park". It was the last of the four tunnels adjacent to the Khodynsky field. In May of the same year, the passage of the left (western) segment began. In September 2014, it was decided to abandon the construction of chord branches. As a result, the construction of three combined transplant stations was no longer necessary. However, due to the fact that the Kozhukhovskaya branch remained in the scheme, Nizhny Novgorod Street will be 4-member.

Works in 2015

Today, the excavation of pits of art. "Khoroshevskaya" and Art. "Shelepikha", passing four distillation tunnels. Concrete work is also being carried out at the Petrovsky Park and Khodynskoye Pole stations. In addition, TPMK is being mounted to pass two more tunnel sections, work is underway on 2 inclined paths and trunks of the Nizhnyaya Maslovka station. Initially, the commissioning of the site was planned for the current, 2015th year. However, due to a number of difficulties and delays, the completion of the work was postponed to the next, 2016th. If the work will be carried out at such a pace, then, probably, the third interchange circuit of the Moscow metro will open by 2020.

Temporary operation scheme

The decision to introduce it was announced in February 2015. Presumably, the movement of trains along the launch site and the Solntsevsky section of the TPK will be combined with the construction of a two-way connecting section (span) between Victory Park and Shelepikha. Previously planned to build a single-track connecting branch. This is due to the fact that the beginning of the construction of the central section of the Kalinin-Solntsevsky site is postponed to even later dates. As a result, most of the passengers traveling along this stretch would have to change to Victory Park on the busy Arbat-Pokrov branch. If the movement is organized along two lines, more passengers will be able to take advantage of the new nodes. As a result, it is planned to organize fork routes along which four out of five Solntsevskaya branch trains will go from Ramenki station through Victory Park to the TPK section to Petrovsky Park. At the same time, one train from Victory Park will proceed to the Business Center. With this scheme, the last station will not be entered along with the launch site. At the beginning of April 2015, several stations of the third interchange circuit received design names. So, instead of Riga, now Rzhevskaya, Maryina Roshcha became Sheremetyevskaya, Kuntsevskaya was called Mozhaiskaya, and Nizhny Novgorod Street became art. "Karacharovo".
