Prince William of Wales is today one of the most famous members of the royal families on the planet. early years
The future prince William of Wales was born on June 21, 1982. His mother, Princess Diana, gave birth to her first child in London, at St. Mary's Hospital. Parents called the boy William Arthur Philip Louis and from the very first day they knew that he was waiting for the interesting and eventful life of the heir to the throne with their joys and tribulations.
Unlike other royal blood children, William attended boarding school in Berkshire with other children, as did his younger brother Harry. Such a training organization was insisted by his mother, Princess Diana, and William was subsequently very grateful to her - it was communication with other people, teachers and students that helped him learn to behave in society, engage in team sports and earn respect for others with his own actions, rather than belonging to a big name.
Two tragedies
After graduating from school, William of Wales entered Eton College, an educational institution graduated from many representatives of wealthy and noble British families, as well as future actors, artists and other celebrities. In college, William made many friends and won the love of teachers with his modesty and sense of tact, but his first year of study ended tragically for him - in the summer of 1996, his parents filed for divorce and officially broke up. This event was for William, a deeply devoted mother, a real personal disaster.
The worst, however, was to come - on August 31, 1997, Princess Diana died in a car accident. William stopped studying, experiencing the deepest shock of losing his mother, and began to feel a strong hostility towards the paparazzi and journalists in general, whom he still considers guilty of the tragedy.
William of Wales was able to survive the shock with the help of psychotherapy. The help of specialists allowed the prince to return to school and normal life, carefully preserving the memory of his beloved mother.
Adulthood
After graduating from college, the prince went on a trip around the world for a year, spending most of his time in poor developing countries and organizing grandiose charity events for those in need, following the example of his mother Diana.
Returning to the UK, the future heir to the throne went to Scotland, where he continued his education at the University of St. Andrews. Having entered there on a general basis, William began to study the history of art, but after the third year he sharply changed his specialization and took up geography, subsequently graduating from an educational institution with honors.
After studying, the prince took up government affairs, representing his grandmother-queen at ceremonies around the world and in various institutions. William then became a cadet at the Royal Military Academy, following in the footsteps of all his male ancestors, and went to serve in the Horse Guards. Having received the rank of junior lieutenant at the end of the service, the prince went to flight school, from which he graduated already in the rank of captain.
William began to build a career in the rescue service of Great Britain, becoming one of the pilots of aircraft at the base of Anglesley. William participated in many operations, saving the lives of people along with his fellow pilots.
Marriage of World Significance
Prince of Wales William and his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, and then an ordinary English girl named Kate, met while studying at the University of St. Andrews. They met for 4 years, but due to constant attacks by the press and journalists, they decided to leave, so as not to put themselves under constant stress. But true love does not recognize any barriers, and three years later, in 2010, William and Kate came together again.
