There are regions where from one settlement to another there is a long and difficult journey. One of such regions of Russia is the North, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. But here too much attention is paid to the development of creative abilities in children, the development of their potential, providing the opportunity to do what brings joy and satisfaction.

For gifted children there is an Arts Center in Khanty-Mansiysk.

Every year young talents come here from all over Ugra to study music, dance, singing and painting. In this way the traditions and succession of generations are preserved, in this way young talents develop.

History

The Center of Arts for Gifted Children of the North was created by the joint efforts of caring entrepreneurs - philanthropists and authorities of Ugra. Opened it in 1997.

The first director was V.I. Nikolaevsky, he was replaced by A.V. Berezin, a famous musician and winner of numerous competitions.

In 2003, the reformation of the educational space takes place, and the center becomes a boarding college of art.

The institution is a member of international organizations such as UNESCO and the Society for Music Education.

Three branches of leading creative educational institutions operate on the basis of the Khanty-Mansiysk Center:

  • Academy of Music. Gnesins;
  • State University of Culture and Art (Moscow);
  • Ural Academy of Architecture and Art.

About 300 people get higher education in the branches, and another 700 receive secondary education.

Now the Arts Center is a unique space in which the creative youth of the North is brought up and realizes their talents.

The educational part is represented by such buildings and premises:

  • more than 40 classrooms (for general education lessons);
  • 9 rooms for choreography;
  • 50 classes for music lessons;
  • tutoring room;
  • 2 concert halls;
  • showroom;
  • the gym;
  • premises for work, among them a workshop for practicing ceramics, sewing, bone carving, and also carpentry;
  • laser complex.

The music department has the best instruments, portable digital studios.

The college is proud of its teaching staff, because every teacher and himself is a real star. National and distinguished artists, artists, members of creative Russian unions, winners of various competitions work and teach secrets of excellence with students.

Regularly, students conduct master classes and give advice to professors and teachers of higher musical institutions of the country, art institutes.

Such meetings are very important in the process of becoming a creative person, helping children to realize where to strive and how to achieve their goals.

Participation in the life of the republic and the city

The Center for the Arts has created several excellent creative teams that work at the level of stage masters, although the participants are just children.

College education

Education at the Center for the Arts of Gifted Children of the North (Khanty-Mansiysk) is received under several programs:

  1. Secondary vocational, full-time education 4-5 years.
  2. General education (primary and basic) in full-time lasts 4-5 years.
  3. 1st level of training, an additional preprofessional program of a general educational nature in the field of musical, decorative and applied, visual, and choreographic art. Full-time education is 4 years, 5 years or 8 years.

The Arts Center of Khanty-Mansiysk prepares students for a number of educational programs. Children who have completed 9 classes can enter the following specialties:

  1. Instrumental performance. Training of an orchestra artist, accompanist or teacher.
  2. Vocal art. For almost 4 years, the guys have been gaining the knowledge of a vocalist.
  3. Solo and choral folk singing. Graduates receive a diploma in which the specialty “vocalist, team leader, teacher” is recorded.
  4. Design. The profession of designer or teacher.
  5. Arts and crafts. The specialty of a master artist or teacher.
  6. Painting. Specialty - "artist-painter."

The duration of training in these specialties and secondary vocational education is 4 years.

On the basis of 7 classes, children go to the "Art of Dance" department, study for 5 years and receive the specialty of dancers of a dance collective / ballet or dance teacher.

Admission Terms

Taking the guys to the 1st level of training, the Khanty-Mansiysk Arts Center conducts creative tests. Within the walls of the college, examinations are taken by the selection committee, and an exit commission is sent to the place of residence of young talents.

Upon admission to the 1st stage of additional pre-vocational training, children are required to show their inclinations and abilities in creativity, music or dance.

To receive secondary vocational education, applicants pass entrance exams of a creative nature, depending on the specialty.

So, for admission to the specialty “design” or “arts and crafts” it is required to hand over a drawing, composition and perform a watercolor still life.
